In this issue, we revisit the incredible story of Garry Stocks, a man who we’d previously featured in our Issue 2, now retracted, bringing his story back to life in order to connect with millions of people around the world who have suffered a major setback in their life due to an ailment or permanent paralysis.
Alongside our very own Brands 2017 Campaign lookbook featured at the start of this issue, we thought we’d include some best-dressed looks from this year’s Derby Day, incorporating the winning looks and interviews from the three winners of the 2017 Emirates Melbourne Cup Carnival Myer Fashions on the Field. These three gentlemen, despite the competitive nature throughout the multi-day fields competition, went on to win the votes of the judges, one for Cup Day, and two for Derby Day & Cup Day, drawing the attention of major media outlets all over the world.
As part of our Derby Day coverage, discover Melbourne’s very own tailor George & King, and their Derby Day campaign featuring four gentlemen whose backgrounds complement the traditional Cup Day attire. For those looking for a head start in accessorising with style, our Men’s Essentials Guide features five national and international brands all focused on products designed for practicality. It’s always been our intention to educate, rather than compensate, and that’s where minimalism has the advantage. Our essentials guide has purposely been limited to six products each issue, but only five products are being featured in this issue as some products are just worth waiting for.
We’ve also got a fantastic Q&A interview with Adelaide-based social media influencers Monty Wolf and Steve Tilbrook, who we caught up with during the Adelaide Fashion Festival. A big shout out to those two gentlemen who took care of us during our stay in Adelaide, we appreciate your support.
